Bronze Embossed Triangular Pendant with Chalcedony Necklace and Earring Set
This lovely handcrafted necklace has as its centerpiece a 2 7/8" x 1 1/2" hand fabricated bronze embossed triangular pendant. With the blue green Chalcedony bead included in the measurement it is 2 1/8. The bronze is such a warm golden color comparable to gold. The color has been preserved with Protecta Clear and will not tarnish. The necklace measures 20 1/2" on a solid bronze chain. The matching dangling triangles earrings also are completely handcrafted. They measure as is 3 1/4". If you prefer a shorter earring I can remove one of the triangles and length would be 2 3/8". With only one triangle the length would be 1 7/8". The earrings are hung on my handcrafted ear wires.
The first known existence of BRONZE dates to about 3500 BC and the Sumerians and lends its name to the Bronze age. The discovery of bronze enabled people to create better metal objects than before. Tools, weapons, armor, and various building materials, like decorative tiles, made of bronze were harder and more durable than their stone and copper. As time progressed, the use of bronze in art, sculpture and architecture flourished. Bronze and copper jewelry has always existed and always will.
