This minimalist but elegant necklace is designed with a Swarovski Dark Green Moss 22mm Teardrop crystal.  I wrapped the pendant with 14K gold filled wire.  The pendant is hung on a lovely delicately designed but sturdy gold filled chain.  This necklace is 18" of pure simple beauty.  The matching 2" drop earrings are also gold filled wrapped and the ear wires are 14K gold filled.  The green of these crystals is a beautiful deep green.  You can depend on Swarovski crystal for that beautiful sparkle.

GOLD FILLED is not like gold plated as there is approx. 100 times more gold in gold fill, than there is on plated. Gold filled looks and usually wears as well as karat gold. The technique is a sheet of gold is mechanically applied to the surface of the metal.  United States requirements state that gold-filled jewelry must contain no less than 1/20 its weight in gold. Wash with gentle soap and water and dry.  No harsh chemicals or rouge cloths are needed to keep gold fill components looking like new.
