I designed this striking 20 1/2" necklace with bright blue/green 12mm Turquoise button beads, 18mm Sono Wood Saucer beads and 10mm Black Onyx beads. The combination of colors is very attractive with the brown 2mm doubled genuine leather cord. The 10 X 10 Granulated design pewter beads and the decorative pewter toggle clasp gives this design some sparkle. The ends of the leather cord is capped with sterling silver end caps.

ONYX - Although onyx comes in a variety of colors, black is the most common color used in onyx jewelry. Onyx jewelry is striking and unexpected, especially when set in a contrasting silver setting. Onyx can be cut like other gemstones or carved into beads or unusual shapes.
