My Comeback Delayed

Posted by JoAnn Williams on

Hi all you handcrafted jewelry enthusiasts.  My comeback to my craft has been delayed again.  My broken right wrist seems to have come along quite well.  With lots of occupational therapy my strength in my right hand has improved.

However, my fall seems to have left me with another unanticipated injury.  Restricted range of motion and pain in my right shoulder.  I tell you when I do it, I go for the gusto. LOL  Diagnosis "Frozen Shoulder".  After many weeks of PT on my right shoulder the pain did not subside.  So a second opinion was received from a very respected doctor.  He found injuries to my right shoulder that required surgery.  So I had arthroscopic surgery and he fixed this and that and a shoulder sling had to be used for some weeks.  Then off again I go to PT.  I am still going to PT but getting range of motion back and pain is subsiding.

Now I am really itching to make some jewelry.  I hope to be able to start in a couple of months.  I purchased some new tools to begin making some really nice fabricated metal bracelets and earrings.  By the way, I have a 40% off sale going on till January 5th hoping to clear some items for new inventory.  If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me at kaminskijewelrydesigns@gmail.com.

I hope you had a wonderful holiday and wish you all a Very Happy and Healthy New Year. I know I'll be more observant of where I walk and I'll look carefully for any obstacles in my way.  (I'd like to keep my right leg intact for sure)

Warm Regards to All,

JoAnn
